Should The Rx. allow Doc Mercer to continue posting in the Political Forum???

I am going to revisit the issue one more time and settle the Doc Mercer issue once and for all.

Please vote in the poll either yes or no.

Thanks, wilheim

You have got to be shitting me.
This question is taking up nearly as much space as Doc's threads.
I can't imagine the level of crying and whining that went on to get a "revisit" on this.

18k spam posts; many of them were personal attacks and thread hijacks.

How anyone can say that this forum is better with Doc a member is beyond me. I figure it's what Jinn said earlier: he guards the towers against the right. Well, one hundred Doc posts are worth as much as one of Eek's, or Jinn's, or Rob's, or KTV's, or King's, or Cussin' It's, and just about anyone else on that side of the political aisle.

Fyi.

I am looking for a clear majority vote to decide this one way or another.

Several veteran posters (from both sides of the aisle) have voiced their concern about the direction the forum is taking and I want to see if there really is an answer to this continuing debate..

Thanks, wil..

i assume it would be safe to say he is at the present on post review as he has failed to respond to this thread. yes or no?

X, i respect you greatly and i would hope you are aware of that but to allow popularity of a poster or group of posters to decide anothers fate is beyond me.

why not let doc have his own room where he can wax poetic till his hearts desire?

I find it odd none of the "concerned posters" have publiclly voiced their positions in this thread! gutsy indeed!

Wow the anti-Mercer contingent must have been waiting with itchy fingers for this poll 1/2 hour and already 10 against. I will refrain from this poll simply because this whole thing has become quite tedious.

Doc is not on post review.

I have to respectfully disagree. If a number of theRx's customers are unhappy with decisions made here, it would be very remiss of us to not pay attention. The complaints about Doc are valid - I think even his supporters realize that - and now theRx wants to revisit the issue, especially in light of how this forum has fared since Doc's reinstatement. Veteran posters, the most valued of all posters, are voicing strong opinions to us. We're going the most democratic route possible to find a resolution.

Never said newbies weren't worth a shit, but regular, loyal posters (and you are one of them) are the most valuable. This is true in any business.

there were a lot of good intellegent debates here, both sides presented great arguements, kind of reminded me of the local bar.
but lately, its just each side presenting their view of the news, while calling the other side childish names.
